Every Obedient Servant of Allah is a Zakir

The genuine talibul 'ilm, with the qualities mentioned above, has another claim as well. He performs what is fardh and wajib; he is punctual with his sunnate mu'aqqidah; he acts with taqwa-such a talibul 'ilm enjoys a station no less than that of one performing abundant nawafil and making abundant zikr. In comparison, this talibul 'ilm may not be performing much nawafil, his zikr and tasbihat may be minimal, but abstaining fromsin and performing what is fardh, not allowing his namaz to become qadha, performing what is wajib and sunnate mu'aqqidah, he has a stage even higher. He is in obedience all the time; he is with taqwa all the time; he is in ibadat all the time; he is a zakir all the time. he is the misdaq of the Hadith Sharif:

An Episode to Reflect!

Excerpt from book awaiting to be Published Shariat and Tasawwuf

Hadhrat Hakimul Ummat Maulana Ashraf Ali Thanvi (rahmatullah alayh), narrates the following awe-inspiring episode in which there is a great lesson for reflection. A man who was a resident of the town of Gawaaliya, India, spared no efforts in the English education of his son. (In those days of political serfdom) it was considered a honour to be educated along the lines of the British rulers). He expended a considerable sum of money in his son’s worldly education. After attaining the limits of English education which the institutions in India could offer, the Father despatched his son to London to obtain the highest qualifications in English education. The son passed his examinations in London with flying colours, but upon returning to India he became seriously ill.

The Prophets Love for A'isha (ra)

It is related from 'A'isha that the wives of the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, fell into two parties. One party contained 'A'isha, Hafsa, Safiyya and Sawda, and the other party contained Umm Salama and the rest of the wives of the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him. The Muslims knew of the love of the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, for 'A'isha, so when any of them had a gift which he wanted to give to the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, he would delay it until the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, was in 'A'isha's house. Then the person with the gift would send it to the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, while he was in 'A'isha's house..

Did You Know...?

Did you know that non-Jewish Israelis cannot buy or lease land in Israel [the Zionist entity]?

Did you know that cars owned by Palestinians are colour coded to distinguish Jews from non-Jews?

Did you know Palestinians are not allowed to move from one city, say Gaza to Bethleham, to another without first getting a 'visa' from the Israelis?

Did you know Palestinian youth, both Christians and Muslims are denied access to their Holy sites routinely?

READING: The Lost Legacy of Muslims!

Books - Windows of the mind

"Books are to the mind what windows are to a home!" Imagine living in a home with no windows. How dark, how stale, how dreary! Windows bring light to a home. Windows bring in crisp air to a stale room. Windows open on to a vast and sweeping landscape. Books do the same for the mind. Books bring light into the mind. Books stir a fresh breeze of thought in a stale mind. Books open new horizons to the mind.

Iqra! - The first lesson of the Qur'an

Reading is second nature to a Muslim. The Qur'an's first words: "Iqra!" teaches us the lesson to "Read!" Ever since that day, Muslims lead mankind to the wonderful world of reading, learning and study, which they knew nothing about before this revelation. The Muslim public of the past were avid readers. Muslim authors churned out books by the thousands. Just take the Qur'an; no book in the world can boast of so many commentaries as the Qur'an. Take the biography of the Holy Messenger; no person has been more chronicled than Nabi Muhammad (sallallahu-alayhi-wasallam) - even by his non-Muslims admirers. Coming from such a rich literary heritage, it is sad to observe that in our times, Muslims tend to be very poor readers overall. By right, Muslims should be leading the world in reading as they had done in the glorious past. A 'secret' of the Muslims' successes in the past is the fact that they read profusely, thereby producing razor-sharp minds and geniuses of the finest order.

Since the quake hit 11 days ago, thousands of children’s have lost their families. More then 1,000 were evacuated from Kashmir to medical care. One report said two men me tried to take a 16 year old girl from a hospital claiming to be her uncles. Guards are now monitoring units where orphans are kept. UNICEF said the risk of exploitation was high in situations such as earthquake. To quell fears, prime minister Shaukat Aziz said orphans would be looked after by the government and no non-relatives would be allowed to adopt.

Khalid Yasin-Dawah Technique Course

Narrated Abu Hurairah (ra) Allah's Messenger (saws) said, "if anyone calls others to follow right guidance, his reward will be equivalent to those who follow him (in righteousness) without their reward being diminished in any respect on that account; and if anyone invites others to follow error, the sin, of which he is guilty, will be equivalent to those of the people who follow him (in sinfulness) without their sins being diminished in any respect on that account. " [Muslim]

As Muslims we are always presented with the opportunity to give Da'wah but few of us take up this great challenge. Why is this the case? Are we too afraid to propagate the truth, do we lack the correct knowledge or are we just in need of Da'wah ourselves? Insha Allah, no more can we accept excuses for not being at the forefront of Islamic propagation. Why? Shaykh Khalid Yasin, the world's most eminent Da'ee in giving Da'wah directly to the non-Muslim population and having been Blessed by Allah The All Giver, the gift of bringing many thousands of people to Islam, has now let us into his mind, his techniques and his motivation behind his success.

Do we not strive for the best of knowledge, keep the best of company and speak the truth at all times? If so, then this 4 seminar series is without doubt, not only the best, but also the only Da'wah course available to Muslims living in non-Muslims environments. Clear your mind and open your heart to accept what Shaykh Khalid teaches and implement it to further your own Da'wah objectives and increase your Imaan Insha Allah.
